We perform renovations of playgrounds and installations of playground equipment for kindergartens, schools, and housing cooperatives. We carry out updates properly and meticulously, ensuring a safe play area for children.
Often, a housing cooperative wants to renovate an old play area. In practice, this means renewing the playground equipment and materials. At the same time, lighting can be reorganized.
Different laws dictate the renovation of playgrounds. Old play areas do not need to be renewed, but if any changes are made to the area, then the entire play area must be renovated according to current regulations.
If a piece of playground equipment is changed, it is necessary to consider the safety surfaces and areas of the equipment. Often, this involves the fact that the old play area no longer meets current regulations. In practice, this means renovating the entire play area.
The law specifies the materials for safety surfaces according to the safety areas. Each piece of playground equipment has its own safety area, where the material of the safety surface must be thick enough and extensive enough according to the fall height of the equipment. Common safety surface materials include safety sand (layer thickness 300–400 mm) and various safety mats and coatings.
